    PROFILE

    Winner of the Good Design Award in 2022, the RGC Corporation, the operator of the "Ryukyu Glass Village," manufactures and sells Ryukyu glass in Fukuchi, Itoman City, Okinawa. The company has produced the largest number of master craftsmen in Okinawa Prefecture, with four "Contemporary Master Craftsmen" and 15 "Okinawa Prefecture Craftsmen." Their high skills and traditions passed down from generation to generation, have given birth to "mado," recycled glass, as an ethical vessel that has been the focus of much attention in recent years.
