Tokeshi Koubou

After training at Yomitan’s Kitagama, the couple opened Tokeji Studio in Sashiki, Nanjo City, in 2022.
They aim to create pottery that blends with daily life, making cooking and eating enjoyable.

    PROFILE

    Born in Shuri, Naha City, Okinawa, he studied basic ceramic arts at Kyoto Traditional Crafts College. After graduation, he returned to Okinawa and trained at Kitagama Yonahara studio.

    PROFILE

    Born in Shizuoka Prefecture.
    He was attracted by the charm of Yachimun and decided to become a potter.
    He moved to Okinawa Prefecture to study under Masamori Yonahara and trained at the Kitagama Yonahara Studio."
